Bigfoot Escapes, Runs Amok Through CNN's Situation Room!

Yesterday CNN reported on a story about a guy in North Carolina who claimed he saw the legendary Big Foot in his backyard. The story was reported as a regular piece of news, the reporter remaining typically news neutral, never calling attention to the fact that the guy has clearly been drinking anti freeze . But why was it deemed worth broadcasting in the first place? In a more and more crowded media landscape what lengths will the news have to go to to keep us watching? I actually will keep watching if Bigfoot begins to nuzzle Wolf Blitzer's beard.
